    Oh my! This boot scraper is one awesome piece. I purchased this from an estate sale. It has patina and the original finish. This would be an awesome piece for any dachshund collector, cast iron collector or any dog collector.
    I will not clean up because I am afraid I would ruin the finish. I have heard cast iron has to be cleaned in a particular fashion and I am unsure how to do it correctly. Also the patina adds character to the piece.
    I wanted to keep for myself but nursing school books have to be bought for my son so my loss is your gain!
